Congratulations to Eiley Morrison who on the past weekend won 2 personal gold medals and a relay bronze at the ACAC provincial indoor championships. Eiley ran a personal best in both of her events (50m & 300m) to capture 1st place in both events. However, in the 50m she broke her own provincial record that was set last year by a tenth of a second. Wow !
High Performance coach Ronald Hewer stated that Eiley now has achieved winning every provincial championships possible in our sport. She is the Alberta High School champion , the Athletics Alberta club champion , and now the Alberta colleges champion. Coach Hewer says that she has built a very nice resume of accomplishments.
We hope to see Eiley on the track this summer earning more gold medals. Congrats Eiley !
