Cassidy breaks the University of Newberry School indoor 400m record. It actually was Cassidy’s very first indoor competition , she has never competed indoor before this event. First indoor meet , first NCAA meet and she puts down a school record. Wow !
High Performance Coach Ronald Hewer said that she is still very green and learning the indoor system. After a few meets coach Hewer thinks she can hit the national indoor standard of 56.50, which would be a great accomplishment for a first year indoor athlete.
