U16 & U18 National Championships

Congrats to our athletes who qualified competed for the Legion National U16 & U18 championships that were held in Calgary from August 9th – 11th.

High performance coach Ronald Hewer was very proud of everyone’s accomplishments. All athletes achieved personal best.

Sianna Freele earned a spot in the 100m final coming 5th in the nation.

Cassidy Bouchard finished 3rd in her heat in the 400m hurdles with a 1 second PB. Cassidy is now ranked 15th in Canada.

Logan Callihoo ran a PB in the 300m

Macy Morrison ran a PB in the 300m and ran an outstanding PB in the 200m hurdles earning her a 10th place ranking in Canada.

The women’s U18 4x400m relay team ran 3:59 which earned them a 7th overall ranking. The team was composed of Olivia Chan, Cassidy Bouchard, Sianna Freele, Macy Morrison.

The Men’s U18 4x400m relay team was composed of Logan Callihoo, Habby Thain-Liptak, Cooper Froose, Kayden Freeden
